Hoover PowerScrub Elite Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner Machine with HeatForce, FH50250V

I originally bought a bissell wet/dry vac because my disabled son would sometimes pull his feeding tube and leak his nutrition onto the carpet. The Bissell was not cleaning it up like I had hoped. And FYI, if you don't clean the machine after every use, things grow in there! My kids used it and put it back in the closet and the next time I pulled it out, the basin had maggots in it! The Hoover Power Scrub is a game changer! My son's milk spots are completely gone and my carpet looks brand new! The cleaning solution goes a long way and the price for a large bottle is great! The house smells great and the unit is easy to clean. You do have to refill it often for large jobs but that's to be expected. And it is a little heavy to maneuver when the water tank is full. But over all, it works fantastic. My only regret is throwing money away on that Bissell and not buying this one first!! I never write reviews so you know this has to be good!!!

We noticed long after our move that everything our movers brought in had black grease on the bottom of our furniture. We had new white rugs, so I thought it was hopeless. I tried carpet cleaner by hand and it didnt do much to remove it. Then I took a chance and I tried this Hoover machine with the Hoover Oxy Cleaning solution. There is only one stain I cant completely get out and thats because it was under a rocking chair and for two years it was literally rocked and embedded into the carpet. The other pieces of furniture it worked to come out really well. Because we had grease stains, which is a tough stain to remove, I did have to take a scrub brush and scrub it out by hand while cleaning with the Hoover. So with the machine I would saturate and wet with the solution cleaner and rinse option and went over it quite a few time with the machine, then i used a hand scrub brush and did it by hand and then I would go back to the machine until the stain was gone. It was a lot of elbow grease but the machine helped tremendously and saved us from having to spend $4000 on new carpets. Worth the cost and I really like the machine and how easy it is to use.
