The bolts for the television side of the mount are only long enough for the med sized spacer that comes with the kit. If a body needed any more room behind the mount or just space between the wall and T.V you would have to go buy some bolts yourself. That would be recommendation befor hanging your T.V. As far as it holding your T.V you would be lucky to find anything to hold it more secure to the wall. 5 stars in that department

Very good product and reasonable price.
Used it to wall mount a 43 inch TV when I bought it, that TV died; I now have a 50 inch LG hanging on it. I have mine screwed through the dry wall into 2 x 4 studs. I particularly like the level that comes with it, it makes the installation easier. Install went easy. You do have to make sure the brackets that go on the TV are located precisely the same height. I like the safety locks that lock the bracket on the wall to the bracket on the TV. It does precisely what I bought for.
