Works very well in hard water!

Just bought this product last week. Not only did I use on dishes but, I made a home made cleaning recipe for the countertops and bathroom since it's anti bacterial: MY Recipe: 1 Cup Distilled Water + 1/2 Cup Hydrogen Peroxide + 1 Tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon Ultra Palmolive Antibacterial. I put in a squirt bottle (important due to possible eye irritation!), put some on countertop-Wiped Down-Leave on 30 Seconds-Rinsed and Dried. For extra scrubbing power I used Baking Soda. I'm very happy with the results in Kitchen and Bathroom. It does get really "sudsy", but seems to rinse away easily, plus my sponge is getting treated for bacteria as I use it! I highly recommend this.

HATE the new top

I have been using Palmolive dish detergent for years.... New bottle top is aweful - too much comes out.... And like others have noticed, the liquid seems to be thinner. Combine that with the new top and I am using too much! I will be exploring other options if the old top/formula doesn't return.... Sorry. (My ratings for the OLD formula and top would be 5 stars...)

Bring back the old cap!!!!

I love this product and have been using it for years. The new cap/top is a disaster. Not sure why it was changed. Definitely not an improvement. I used to be able to use it with one hand; it now requires two hands to open it. Am not a change averse person when the change is an improvement; this is not!!!! Enough to discourage me from further purchases. UGH... remember the Edsel
