The Original Zipper Rescue Kit created in 1993 provides the most common sized replacement sliders (the small part that that zips and unzips the zipper) for tents, backpacks, sleeping bags, coats, duffel bags, etc. The Outdoor Kit repairs worn out or broken sliders on molded tooth (Vislon) and nylon coil type zippers. The kit includes 8-page instruction manual packed with information on repairs. Most repairs can be done with pliers; wire cutters can also be helpful.
