The Blue Yeti Microphone is an exceptional piece of hardware with the option of using both it's XLR and USB capabilities. It's definitely one I have absolutely no problem recommending to anyone wanting to start recording audio for any reason whatsoever. I did have a bit of a problem though.. The Microphone i had received looked to be in slightly damaged condition, probably done while it was being shipped. The box wasn't padded in foam or anything else to protect it during shipping, so that may have been a factor. It's nobs are slightly inverted inward and between the painfully visible gaps in between the outer shell of the mic and the electronics inside. I do believe Walmart needs to better address this issue, thankfully the Mic works great and has no real problems other than what happened to it exterior wise. I recommend the Mic, I don't recommend you have it shipped by Walmart though. That is; unless you like having your sensitive items rattling around in the back of a truck and receiving it looking quite bent.
