Quality tool

This spring compressor is built well and we used it on some BBC double springs for a roller cam. I think it was behond the compressors intended capabilities it held up through about six springs and the forks bent. Welded a large washer to reinforce the forks and continued the job. I would recomend this for normal valve springs but i will look for a better compressor or a lever type compressor for the roller springs. All in all a quality tool.

Works Well

I bought it to do a valve job on a Chevy V6 4.3 and it works well, heavy made and I like the way it adjusts with the clamp end that goes onto the valves. No problems . iI set it a bit loose then clamped it then tightened the screw to pull the springs down enough to get the retainers of and on and O ring valve seals in It comes in a heavy duty plastic storage box
