I was in need of a ramp to change the transmission oil in my 2014 F-150. In their infinite wisdom related to a marketing gimmick of lifetime fluid, Ford opted to not include either a drain plug or fill port, so it made the job much more difficult. Obviously, my biggest concerns were height and being able to hold the weight of the vehicle. These ramps are rated above the GVWR of my truck, but I still used jack stands as a backup for safety purposes. You have to look at the images included with the product ad, because while their dimensions say 8.5 in high, the actual lift height is about 6.5 in. that was enough to get the job done, but you'll still be a little constrained under there. The only negative is that the reported with is ~12.5 in. My tire with is 265 mm, which equates to 10.4 in. I certainly didn't have ~3/4 in on either side when on the ramp. The tires weren't rolling over the sides, but this seems to be more like ~11 in wide. They're fairly light and stack easily for storage. Lastly, they functioned as intended, as I'm here making this post. All good in the end.

I drove my Mercury Gran Marqui up on these ramps, slid my very fat person under the car, drained oil, changed filter, and lived to talk about it. Paid for ramps first use.

Just finished my first oil change and did appreciate the little dip at the top of the ramps that keeps the vehicle from moving ,compared to my old metal ones of decades ago. . Even before trying them , I did put down a couple of long pieces of wood between them and the wall to keep them sliding . They worked flawlessly . They are very reasonably priced . So doing my own oil change paid for their purchase.
