Awesome upgrade for factory alternator!

I bought this alternator in December as I had recently upgraded to an electronic ignition and the factory one wasn't quite up to the task. Super easy installation and I was able to remove a lot of unneeded wiring from the engine bay. Alternator has been perfect and no charging issues at all. Would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their oem alternator or simplify under hood wiring!

Will buy Tuff Stuff products again!

I used this on a 460 Ford with a low mount alternator kit. The output lug was hitting the block, so I pulled the four screws and rotated the rear housing (don't pull it off the alternator, just rotate). Fit perfect and works perfect - this thing is much better than my original and I will certainly buy Tuff Stuff again.

Quality part, perfect fit.

I have not had a chance to test this units performance as I have not done the first start on the fresh rebuild yet. But the unit looks and feels well constructed and fit my 1968 F100 I6 300 application perfectly. It compliments the engine bay and if it performs as well as it looks and feels it should be a winner. Did not rate the quality and value as I can not honestly answer that yet.
