Better watering bags are available
I purchased three of these bags for new maples I purchased from a nursery. Two of them work great, but the third has developed a clog and no longer drains. I also purchase five of the low to the ground donut shaped watering bags that, even though are a little harder to fill are made not to clog. My advice, get the donut kind as they do not have to be lifted to drain and will not lean against the tree like the tall green ones.
