Bumblebee's silliness is a little over the top. And the repetition of… let's say, “Bah-Daz-a-tron” definitely caught the attention of some of the younger viewing audience. That all aside, the storyline was great. Even as someone who prefers G1 (generation 1) seasons 1 and 2 (1984 and 1985 respectively), I found this was well done and still captured the essence even if it didn't fit to the various storylines that don't line up already anyway. In short… GREAT FLICK!
