Toad Fish Crab Cutter

I live in Maryland, and we love eating our blue crabs. Most people use a mallet to crack the claws. Mallets are often not very precise. Often you smash instead of crack. These make cracking claws precise and easy. Not only for the blue crab but also snow crab and king crab. I tried many other claw crackers. I tried to modify some to make them better. I finally found the Toad Fish Claw Cutter. It was what I was trying to make myself. The first time I took them to a family crab dinner, they thought I was nuts. Until they tried them. My brother had also brought other claw cutters. Long story short, this is what we all use. And, without all the hamming from the mallets, it's a quieter dinner as well. I like them so much, I give them to friends as a gift.

Great for breaking up crab and lobster claws. After seeing my friend use a metal mallet to break a lobster claw and the mess he left behind, I bought this for him.
