Love the kitchen shears
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the BergHOFF Leo Legacy 9-inch shears for a while now, and overall they've been a solid addition to my kitchen. The size is great for my hands and not too big or clumsy. The mechanism is also good for safety. The first thing I noticed was how sleek and sturdy they feel. The stainless-steel construction looks premium, and they don't feel flimsy or lightweight in a bad way. In terms of performance, these shears handle everyday kitchen tasks very well. I mainly use them for cutting poultry, trimming fat, snipping herbs, and opening food packaging. They cut cleanly through joints and skin without requiring much force, and the blades feel sharp and precise. I like that I have good control while using them, which makes prep feel safer and more efficient. The handles are comfortable to hold, even during longer prep sessions. They fit nicely in my hand and don't dig into my fingers, which is something I've had issues with on cheaper kitchen scissors. Cleaning has also been easy—I usually hand wash them, and they don't seem to trap food or odors. That said, I wouldn't consider these heavy-duty butcher shears. For very thick bones or frequent large poultry breakdowns, I'd probably want something more robust. For normal home cooking, though, they do the job well. Overall, I'm happy with the BergHOFF Leo Legacy 9-inch shears. They're attractive, comfortable, and reliable for everyday kitchen use, making them a good choice if you want something a step above basic kitchen scissors without going overboard.
Perfect for any using
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the BergHOFF Legacy Stainless Steel Poultry Shears for a while now, and they've quickly become one of my most-used kitchen tools. The first thing I noticed was how sharp they are — they cut cleanly through poultry and even small bones with very little effort. There's no tearing or crushing of the meat, which makes prep much faster and neater. The shears feel very comfortable in hand thanks to the ergonomic hollow handle. They're well-balanced, giving me great control while cutting, and I feel safe using them even for tougher tasks like portioning whole chicken or cutting through crab shells. The full tang construction adds stability, and the solid build feels durable and high-quality. Another big plus is how easy they are to clean. Food doesn't stick to the blades despite their flat shape, and being dishwasher safe makes cleanup effortless. The stainless steel finish still looks great after multiple uses and washes. Overall, these poultry shears are sharp, sturdy, comfortable, and practical. They perform exactly as expected and are a reliable addition to any kitchen, especially for anyone who cooks poultry regularly. Perfect size!!! I highly recommended!
Cuts but doesn't come apart
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cut through the chicken spine as expected. They are a bit unwieldy for my small hands. I wish they would come apart for easier cleaning. The close pin helps to manage them in the drawer. I like that its all stainless steel.
