I bought this during black Friday and had to choose between titanfall 2 and battlefield 1, I could have bought both but I only have time for one game. The deciding factor for me was that I knew that battlefield had a 50 dollars season pass and if I didn't buy it eventually I would be behind the DLC wall. Coming from destiny I know too well about having to pay for DLC . Titanfall will release new levels and new content at no charge, if you like one of the cosmetic skins for titans just buy it at the store. I have yet to spend extra money in game, there's so much to unlock. The game is excellent, amazing storyline that I'm sure I'll play over again to find the secrets and Easter eggs. I like that it has a twist in it, it's not a generic story of kill all the bad guys. Online play is solid, never played the first one so I'm a total newbie at it but I don't care if I get taken out because I have so much fun. I love to go up against other titans, inside my own or on the ground. There's no experience like it in any other shooter, I hope the 3rd titanfall has VR support that would be epic. If you're on the fence about this game just kick it down and buy it. You'll enjoy it alot more than what's out there because it's different.

Incredibly good game

Incredibly good game. This game really didn't have much hype surrounding it before launch. But after reading and watching all of the positive reviews on the game I had to try it. After a few hours of gameplay it is easy to see why many are calling this the best first person shooter of the year.

Just plain fun.

I recently purchased this because i wanted a change of pace with the shooter's iv'e been playing. I was hesitant because, while the first one was well made, it had many shortcomings. I can gladly say a lot of the issues found with the first one are resolved here. For starters the campaign is one of the better shooter campaign's i have played. For reference I have played destiny, Call of Duty, Battlefield and Killzone recently. The campaign is average shooter length with a lot of fun things to do that i wont spoil here. The multiplayer built on the first game with 8 titans available as oppose to 3. You have a lot of customization options and i like that unlockables are based on you using the weapon or titan. Overall I found this game well worth the purchase price and recommended it to a number of friends.
