These flower buds open in late June revealing single yellow daisy blooms by the boatload, continuing into August. Interesting Fact: 'Tickseed' derives from the green ‘koris’ meaning bed-bug and ‘opsis’ meaning appearance therefor referring to the resemblance of the seed to a tick.
