I love the oval shape, and the size and scale is still substantial and accommodates up to six people, but yet works if you don't have a grand dining room. up to six people, but yet works if you don't have a grand dining room. If I had one bit of criticism, it is that there are some spots in the finish that are white and not stained all the way, but we just got some furniture markers. we've used the table with and without a tablecloth, and we always make sure to use placemats and coasters, but as a toddler mom I am totally pleased and think that this table will serve as well for many many years. Terrific style and value!

I couldn't wait to tell everyone I know how pleased I am with this table. It is a solid piece of furniture. It's so well made. It looks very expensive. If you are on the fence about it, order it! I rarely buy from Walmart, but this dining table was in a Facebook ad, as I've recently been searching for a new dining set. I'm so glad I saw it!
