Swift (Paperback)

At last, her journey begins... After Kohana is accused of the murder of her entire family, she is Outcast, sent to live on her own. She is not allowed to be part of society; she is a vile scourge that lurks at the edges of town. Or is she? Kohana wants nothing more than to clear her name, and find the true killer of her family. As the rightful heir to the throne, Kohana should be ruling Desaria, but unless she wants her head on a stake, she can't go to any town or city. She roams Dark Forest, living with her companion, Goldensun, and the she-wolf's pack. Until one day, Kohana takes a brave venture up into the Mountains, realizing that those villages isolate themselves from the lower lands, and therefore would not know of her status as Outcast. But life isn't normal up in the Mountains either. As her destiny unfolds, Kohana finds that there is much more to life than looking out for herself. The fate of the world rests in her hands...but will she accept the challenge?
