Fun toy

This R2-D2 is a great little toy. I bought it for my wife because she hallways has liked R2-D2 and when she opened the present she was thrilled. It took a little while to get it going properly but after a little while we learned how to get it go both on its own and controlling it with our iPad. I like the different noises and "dances" it can perform. I am surprised that the batteries have lasted so long. I haven't yet programmed a mission but that looks interesting and not that hard. The only small warning is that we have a tile floor with some grout ridges which our R2-D2 gets stuck on. But it is easy to move him to get him going again. A very good fun item.

The Force is with us

I bought two of R2-D2 - 1 for each of my grandson's. One is 10 the other 3 1/2. So the Dad's have to participate as well. We had no problem with them at all. The robot scooted along my thinner rug in the family room with no problem and really flew on my hardwood floors. The both have hardwood floors at their homes. I emailed both the dads to find out how they are doing 3 weeks after I gave them the toys. They are doing just great. All the kids in the house love R2-D2. It has become a member of the family. No issues as all. They are constantly finding new things to program into him. I told the Dad's I will buy them Jedi robe's and laser sabers. May the force be with you too.

Purchasing this and picking up in the store was easy and convenient . Good quality for the price and R2 has a sassy and fun personality just like in the movies. He's fun to drive with the app or send out on his own by turning the knob on his head. A true find for a Star Wars fan. Thanks Hasbro and Walmart - awesome!
