The lights are tiny but bright. The length of the string is quite long- I haven't done a measure. They are powered by a solar battery. The light of the sun recharges the battery. There are two modes: flashing and steady. The lights glow when darkness occurs after sunset and stop glowing before the sun rises. Put up the lights, then forget about it.

Starcrest solar string lights are made of good quality wiring and were very easy to install. When fully charged up from the sun, they last about 4 hours overnight. I strung them up on the top of my dog kennel fence that surrounds my property.
