I bought this to compare against a similar product made by another company. The other product was a few ounces lighter, had a smaller sitting area, and was a couple of inches shorter. I tried them side by side. It was immediately obvious that this chair was both better made and more comfortable. I have now used it about a dozen times, for up to two hours at a time, in total comfort. I work as a guide and I've been carrying it on hikes and testing with participants, and the responses have been unanimously positive. I'm planning to order a dozen more, which I think will all fit into one backpack, so I can have an assistant carry them for hikers... some of my hikers are old enough that they don't want to sit on the ground because it is difficult to get back up, but they still need to rest. I think this may be a great solution. It feels very stable. Tonight I had it at a concert and used it on a slight slope, which reduced the comfort and stability a bit but I was in it for over an hour with no complaints. And I felt very smug about how small and easy it was to carry compared to the big camp chairs others were lugging around. Bonus: you will maintain a good, solid, comfortable posture while in this chair.
