Let's clear this up.

SimCity is not the Sims. It's based off an old and addictive computer game in which you zone and build a city and then tend to its development and financing. The goal is to have a large, perfectly functioning city in spite of various calamaties that ensue. For example, my power plant just exploded so I'm trying to figure out a way in which I can increase my funding to build a new one with most of my population fleeing the city. This is most likey not a game for the younger sect, although I got into it when I was about 12, and it's really just a port of the computer game, but it works fantastically with the DS. Laying out zones is a breeze with the stylus. The minigames I could do with out, but they're a nice way to bring in extra cash. I love this title.

Inexpensive game and the grands love it!!!

Got a deal on a few of these games for the Grands who are 12 down to 9 who have 3ds machines. Got them each an expensive game and then each a special priced game and they seem to be loving them. Way to go Walmart.

Better than Expected

I never really cared for the computer game but the DS game was a lot better than I expected it to be. The hardest part is getting the budget just right. It can be a bit frustrating if you go into debt because its really hard to bring your funds back up and you may have to start over unless you are patient enough to deal with being in debt. All in all a really great game but wouldn't recommend to anyone under twelve.
