In typical Helena Hunting fashion, this was a total cover to cover read in one sitting. Reminiscent of the PUCKED series, the humor, wit and banter between the characters was on point. Throw in the sexiness and BOOM, this book is blowing up my kindle. I so love when a book has me so captivated that I cannot put it down. To say that this series is going to be another hit, is just a laugh, Ms. Hunting cannot not write a HIT. When is the next book coming? I cannot wait!
About This Item
From New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting, Shacking Up is a hilarious, swoon-worthy novel about sex and the city—and everything in-between.
SHE’S IN THE DOGHOUSE. WILL HE TAKE HER ALL THE WAY UP TO THE PENTHOUSE?
Ruby Scott is months behind on rent and can’t seem to land a steady job. She has one chance to turn things around with an important audition. But instead of getting her big break, Ruby gets sick as a dog and ends up with her tail between her legs. All thanks to a mysterious, gorgeous guy who kissed her—and then coughed on her—at a party the night before.
Ruby’s BFF might have found the perfect job opportunity: pet-sitting in the lavish penthouse apartment belonging to hotel magnate Bancroft Mills. But when the newly-evicted Ruby meets her jet-setting employer, she realizes he’s the same guy who got her sick. Seeing his role in Ruby’s dilemma, Bane offers her a permanent job as his live-in pet sitter until she can get back on her feet. . .and maybe back into his arms?

I dont think the auth...
I don't think the author knows any rich people, and certainly not NYC rich people. I don't think the author knows anything about business, and especially not hotels, publishing or pharmaceuticals. This was very distracting (Brittany is not a rich girl name, the assistant to the president of a pharma company is not the receptionist, rich people in NY don't move their stuff in a truck with friends, they hire someone.) But she knows ferrets and she wrote a fun budding relationship between Ruby and Bane. and that'll do.
