Saved me a ton of time

I had ordered a set of rebuilt heads and after waiting for over two weeks for them to show up, received one with a bent rocker arm stud. Not being a big fan of the stock press in studs, decided to order these to repair the bent one but also replace the remaining stock ones as well. Received them in just a couple of days, and drilled/ tapped and installed these all on my kitchen table. Got the heads installed the next day and everything back together.

Great Product not that much skill required for Instalation

These screw in studs are not that difficult to install. The average mechanic can thread the old stud holes. Cast iron threads very easily their is barely a need for oil during threading. The hardest part is removing the old press in studs especially if they are stripped. Recommend sealer on the studs due to them screwing into water jacket areas.

PEACE OF MIND

These screw in rocker studs were a prefect fit for my 52 year old 1965 327 double hump cast Iron heads. I will rest easy knowing that my rockers will not pull out under extreme heat, pressure and higher RPM that they were originally meant to take. I have bought engine parts from Speedway before and I trust them to provide quality parts that will correctly fit my very old SBC at a good price. .
