Transform your work space with Safco's Big and Tall Office Chair. This large desk chair has a 400 lb. weight capacity. Designed with every shape and size in mind, this black fabric chair brings a comfortable seating experience to everyone. Functions include pneumatic seat-height adjustment from 19" to 22", back-height adjustment, back tilt lock and 360-degree swivel. Optional T-pad arms (sold separately) adjust in height and width. Five-star base is oversized for stability and equipped with 2-1/2" diameter, dual-wheel carpet casters that roll easily from workstation to workstation. Seat size is 23" wide x 22" deep. Back measures 22" wide x 25" high.

a REAL big %26 tall chair that delivers comfort
I was able to assemble this chair in about 10 minutes — honestly, unpacking it took longer than putting it together. Easiest chair assembly I've ever had. Once I adjusted the tilt properly, my back felt very supported. The seat design is excellent, with subtle curves and an upward slope that really help reduce tailbone pressure (something I wish they'd advertise more clearly). All the adjustments work smoothly, and while it doesn't have a separate lumbar knob, the tilt function does the job. The chair feels extremely solid, and the wheels are heavy-duty — a big deal since many so-called “big and tall” chairs skimp on this part. Yes, it was a little pricier than expected (likely tariff-related), but after wasting money on two cheaper chairs that failed within a year, this one is absolutely worth it. It's a true big and tall chair that actually sits correctly without leaning forward like others I've tried.
