Random Numbers, (Paperback)

Thirteen-year-old Ben Johnson has no grand plans for summer. First of all, he failed math. So instead of joining his family on their annual beach vacation, he has to stay with his grandma and go to summer school. But that's not half the story. The town bully is trying to recruit him, numbers still puzzle him, and the old guy next door is trying to shoot him. When a string of robberies hit the small town of Brookville, Ben and his friend, Macy, have to outsmart the villains or the whole place might - literally - go up in smoke!
