Great beginner/teaching set!

Great starter set to teach anyone chess! One side has a regular size board and the other side is a condensed board with enough squares for only one of each type of piece so the you have quicker games for shorter attention spans and more games. The "cheat sheet" shows the players how each piece can move. So its always there for a reference. This set helped me easily teach my 5 yr old son how to play. We gave it away to some friends but I recently bought 3 more sets. Two to give to my nephews turning 6, and another to keep at our home again for when children, or even adults who don't know how to play, visit.

QuickChess is great!

Taught my girlfriend's 7-year old daughter. Each piece has it's own little game that we played together. Each game took less than 10 minutes. After playing all games, she set up all the pieces on the traditional board (that came with QuickChess) and started playing full chess! Plus, she still likes to play me on the QuickChess board when I don't have time for a full game. I loaned it to a friend who didn't know how to play chess, and she told me that she learned, too, while teaching her son with all the mini games. Now I recommend QuickChess to all my friends who have children.
