Our churches encourage us to pray for others but rarely teach us how to pray, let alone how to pray for other people. How do you pray for someone who has cancer? What words can you utter for the friend going through a nasty divorce? How do you pray when you are overwhelmed by feelings of helplessness yet you feel led to pray for global issues such as nations at war or nations falling away from God?
With some basic training in intercessory prayer, you can learn to pray the way God intended--with eternal impact.
Prayer 101 offers a chance to glean from Scripture and the experience of others to see how God is calling you to personally engage in a number of prayer opportunities available to intercessors today. Be transformed into an enthusiastic, praying Christian who connects with the God who longs to reveal His power through our prayers. For church leaders,
Prayer 101 is an invaluable training resource to equip your prayer team to serve in a variety of ways throughout the church.
