My price was below $5. I use it to carry everything to the range(but the shotgun of course). Holds four boxes of shells. Good o-ring seal and event though plastic seem to be of good quality.

Another Great Plano Ammo Box
What a great box! As with all Plano Ammo boxes, it does exactly what it was designed to do with no reservations. Plano quality is second to none. This box will hold an unopened box of 100, 2-3/4' shotgun shells. The lid has a handle and molded recesses to accommodate stacking additional boxes. When stacked on a level surface, these boxes are stable up to several feet in height. This also helps when transporting several boxes of ammo to and from your range or hunting site. The lid also contains a gasket which helps make them water resistant, although I don't believe I would rely on the inside remaining dry if the box is completely submerged for an extended period of time. These boxes are quite easy to carry into the field. The handle is very comfortable and folds flat when not being used. Being made in the U.S. is a big plus and if you keep a stock of ammo at home you can't beat the price. I've seen this same can made under other brand names cost at least twice as much, so buy the Plano brand and buy it from Walmart. You would be crazy to store ammo in anything else. When you're ready to retire all your old, heavy, rusty ammo cans, replace them with Plano Ammo cans.
Perfect sized ammo box for a day at the range!
I have an older 50 cal ammo can that I bought from my local Army Surplus store which weighed a ton when full (using mixed calibres, not 50 cal). I wanted something lighter that would less stressful on my arms and back to carry. I bought this because it was cheap...couldn't be happier! This can has enough space for a 20 round "case" of 30-06, 4 boxes of 22 (50 count - or 2 100 rounders), TWENTY-FIVE 10mL vials for of black powder, a box of .440 lead ball bullets (100ct), a tin of percussion caps, a baggy of lubed patches, my baggy of accessories (nipple wrench, cleaning jigs, bullet puller, etc), my 3 piece 30 cal cleaning rod (which I also use for my muzzleloader), a staple gun, and a couple stacks of spare staples and it STILL has a little of room leftover....albeit, not a lot, but it has some, and it doesn't even weigh 5 pounds! Needless to say, this is my range box and my ol' 50 cal can is gonna be used for ammo storage.
