The book is greatly illustrated with color photos / diagrams, whose topics are briefly explained as to their purpose and how to use. The paper is glossy and nice (not thin). The book has thicker paper for front and back covers, and has nice binding. The book came shipped in a correctly-sized bubble-envelope that protected the book from damage. It arrived half a week ahead of time ... Great ! I highly recommend this book, especially for new users and for experienced programmers new to the Raspberry Pi, like me. The author walks you through how it works (component by component), how to connect it to mouse, keyboard, video, WiFi, and Ethernet, and introduces you to programming the Pi.
