I bought dash cameras from anywhere from $250 down to $15 and the next base is the best one I found by far. It does have a little bit of a limitation and severe heat down here in Texas but with a magnetic mount, take it loose set it on the floorboard and it'll be fine if you forget and the screen goes grey unplug it from power and let it sit and cool off a little bit and it will work just like new I've bought at least 10 of them giving them to my children and friends because in my work van which is a Walmart work van I have one and it shows exactly what the idiots do in front of you. There's no question about it.

Just bought a second 222 today. I bought my first one back in 2019 pre-pandemic, $88.00 at the Love Field Walmart. Been working great since then. Been through 2 winters with record breaking freezing temps and 2 summers with record breaking scorching temps and it didn't phase it. The 1080P is clear and the Night Vision is pretty good. I bought a 4K brand sold here at Walmart thinking I was going to replace the 222. Bad idea. The 4K had a horrible picture. Had all the wiz-bang wifi and app stuff but I don't need it. The 222 is fine. Will place my still working 2019 in the rear and this new one in the front. Again, this cam is not wifi nor has an app. The cam is magnetically connected to the windshield holder. Disconnects easily. I plug the SD card into my home computer to view the 3 minute looped clips. Afterwards I just place the cam back into it's holder. This is not a complicated cam to operate. If you're looking for clear 1080P videos, long lasting service and no worries about wifi or Bluetooth and downloading apps to run the thing, this is the cam for you. The price is right.
