Muse - Drones - Music & Performance - CD

I bought this CD new from Walmart. It was a fair price and arrived quickly in the described condition. The sound quality is very good as it is with most of Muse's albums. The packaging is not ideal as the disc can easily fall out of the cardboard sleeve, but not having additional plastic is also nice. There is a booklet with art and lyrics as well. As for the music itself, I think this album and the two newer ones are the best by the band. They really evolved their sound and increased the production quality here over 2nd Law. The album is sort of a concept album that looks at the military in a critical way. The first eight tracks just get better and better. The last few are not quite as catchy. I also think this is the darkest/heaviest of the Muse albums to date. Highly recommended.
