Stand is sturdy and looks like it will hold a target well. I don't recommend expanding it beyond 22" although it says it expands to 24" - at 24" there isn't enough tube left to really secure it. Uprights are not included and manufacturer recommends standard 1"x2" dimensional lumber, which is actually 3/4" wide. Provided clips will barely open wide enough to fit on the 3/4" upright much less accommodate a piece of cardboard backing. I suggest you use a staple gun to secure the cardboard to the uprights. l also recommend some kind of peg or ground staple (not provided) to keep the stand from blowing over in wind. If they had provided ground staples or pegs, not included the useless clips, this would be a solid 4 star rating. As is, it doesn't fully do what it advertises, so 2 stars.
