Whaaaatt?
Okay, so at first I wasn't sure what this was, but then my friend opened apps on her phone and OMG! When you look at the cube through the phone, it becomes all these different games and characters. I never write reviews, but this is too cool! And for less than $15?? You should check it out.

Idea is great, execution is terrible
Easily the most frustrating software/hardware I've encountered in years. The implementers make you sign-in through a browser to play each game. My 8 year old and I found it impossible to understand how to play the games. A typical instruction directs us to "press the headset button." Huh? It was impossible to keep his attention while stumbling through the hoops they made us go through that we understood, and the reward were bewildering games that made us jump once again through the same hoops.

Fun Interactive Toy

I bough this for my 12 year old for Christmas and he loves it. He already owns the Merge Headset so it was pretty easy to get ot up and running. Delivery was a couple days later than scheduled but we were kept up to date the whole time. We will order from Walmart again.

Very interactive! Kids loved it!

Bought this for Christmas for my kids 10 and 7. They have had a great time exploring the human body in 3D and space and playing some pretty cool games in 3d as well.

Awesome Product!

This little foam cube will actually turn into a hologram if you download certain apps on your smartphone. It's really affordable for all that you can do with it. There are 3D games and puzzles, but there's also some cool educational apps as well. I would definitely recommend it!

Really cool. Great gift.

Got it as a gift since I'm into AR stuff. I found their apps on the play store and enjoyed them with the headset. You'll feel like what you're holding is really there. This makes it extremely fun to play the AR games and I'm excited for whatever else they release.

How Cool!

Stumbled across this and ended up buying 3 of them! An experience where you can hold a game in the palm of your hands, manipulate the games in virtual reality; is pretty cool experience for the price! Great thing is you can use your cell phone. Giving these to my whole family!

Very nice toy & a few pretty descent free apps.

It was bought as a Christmas present & generally works very well. Many of the features have minimal activities & kids loose interest quickly. For the price - an overall good buy!

Unique and cool, hard to find compatible phones

My Nephew loves it... when it works - which is only on my phone (HTC 10). It says it is recommended iPhone 6 and up, but my Sister has a 6+ and it's no-go. A Note 4 did work. Their iPads won't support it either. It says it is compatible with HTC M8, but the Merge App is not available for it there either. It's really cool when it works, but you have to turn it slowly or it loses sync. Very disappointed Nephew after Christmas. Great concept, cool toy, but hard to find a phone that it will work with.

$$$$ MONEY PIT $$$$

Buying the cube is just the beginning. Right now, there are 28 apps available for the cube, 8 are free (1 can be downloaded only to Apple devices. The remaining 7 are for Android & Apple). Prices range are $0.99, $1.99, $5.99, $8.99 & $49.99. There were 3 apps that stated they were free for 6 days only. No dates given for when they would start charging for them. I have only tried 3 of the free apps - they will not keep your attention for very long or have repeat play. The outside of the cube box says ages 10 and above. Each app makes you sign in and certify that you are at least 13 - easier to sell things to ages 13+ Cute novelty item for the $10 I paid for it before Christmas 2017 at Walmart. I would not buy a second one. This is a 1-person experience. If you get one for a kid, don't give them your password to the Play Store or to the Apple Store and make sure parental controls are enabled (sometimes when update occur, the settings get changed)

1. Of the five android devices I have, it works with one. I suggest you (try to) download the free apps for the cube to see if they are compatible with your device. The cube is useless without the apps (it's too light for a paperweight, but it does look cool).

2. Yes, this is compatible with phones older or prior to the Samsung S7.

3. yes it is. It uses software and a camera to read the cube and its location. The hardware plays little part in this.

1. You can look through the available apps on the website and decide for yourself. Some games are more child-oriented than others, but not all of them.
