Huge MIstake
Our school bought two of these at the end of the 2021-2022 school year. There is so much bad stuff to go over that I'll use bullet points: •We weren't told the printers were on back order and it took months for them to arrive. •I am almost 100% certain both printers were refurbished. •The documentation included with the printers directs you to download a Makerbot app to use for setup. The app does not work. Only after calling Makerbot are you told that the app is no longer being used. •The first printer was nonfunctional and needed to be sent back to Makerbot and replaced. •The second printer worked for a while but then the Extruder+ kept popping off so we were asked to pack the whole thing and send it off to Makerbot for replacement. They sent us a replacement printer without extruder, build plate, or cords of any kind. When they finally send us a new extruder, it jammed on the very first print and was unusable. I would recommend avoiding Makerbot at all costs.
