This Firewood Rack can be used as 8 Foot or 4 foot and I advise anyone needing a 4 Foot to buy it as it was cheaper to buy an 8 Foot and just not use the parts available to make it full length. [ left over not making it 8 Feet is two 4 Foot leg pipes and one Flat Steel plate support and 4 nuts,washers and bolts ] Trash them or Stash them is what I say, if I end up needing more room for firewood, I'll install the section at that time. It is metal, well painted and sturdy, easy to assemble and the main asset is it keeps the wood off the ground and has no wood parts at all as some of the other kits advertised. The bottom of the legs are plugged with plastic and allow for it to sit steady and keep insects out as well, spider nests etc. It is manufactured in China despite the "Landmann" Brand Name for those who buy USA Made only products. It was ordered by Internet and delivered quickly and in good condition and was put right to use after about a 30 minute assembly time. No parts were missing and all was well protected from from damage in shipment as well as the elements, plastic sleeves on all the pipe, good sturdy plastic bag holding the necessary nuts and bolts and washers, good instructions should one need them for such a simple assembly.

HAVE PURCHASED SEVERAL RACKS IN PAST, THIS PRODUCT IS STURDY AND STRONG ENOUGH TO HOLD WOOD. DO NOT JUST LEAVE IT IN SOIL, LEVEL IT AND PUT FOOTINGS ON IT OR WET GROUNDS WILL RUST OUT THE FEET OF HOLDER.
