I regretfully submit to you

I regretfully submit to you that the rings and base (UPC 50028) do not fit Remington 541-T. The 2 bolts/screws on the rear base will not allow the bolt of the rifle to be operated. The front base (extended base) is fine. The rear base on the package does not have the 2 bolts. Therein lies the problem. So, I am still looking for base/mounts for my Remington 541-T. Couldn't be better, except the ring set should come with a tap and drill bit, so the user can install the rings without having to locate the drill and tap elsewhere.

My favorite mount. With the

My favorite mount. With the extended or offset ring they work great on long action rifles. Scopes are getting shorter. (perception?) that 1/2 inch is the only way I can adjust eye releaf. The rails require a higher ring. That changes cheek weld.
