so handy

I got this to have a key available for emergency personal. I wear a medical alert necklace due to balance issues - I fall a lot. I also live alone, and this gives me a way to give them access to my house if needed. I mounted it on the porch post so it is not viewable from the street. I have already used it to let a friend into my house. It is most convenient.

Great Product! However.............

This is a great product to secure your keys outside. However, the only three complaints I have is number one. The screws that were included are not for wood. Especially, if you plan on mounting it against the side of your garage. If you have wood there, you will need wood screws. The screws included are for metal or concrete. And secondly, when selecting your numbers for the unlock code. It would help, if they made the symbols on the back of the faceplate more distinct. If you don't have the arrows turned in the correct direction, it will not work properly. When you depress the "open" latch, It will NOT fully lower. And you will be unable to place the faceplate, into the body of the key lock box. And lastly, it ONLY comes in white. Even though it shows on the website, that they come in assorted colors.

Lock box

Very easy to install. The major problem that I found with this item is that even though you may have a 5 number code, if someone pushes all the numbers, the lock box will still open. Your code does not have to be entered in a sequence, so if someone is aware of this, anyone can get into your lock box. I live in a condo so I couldn't find a rock to hide a key under. This idea is perfect but they need to find a better way to enter your cold
