Microsaver Notebook Lock

The locking mechanism rotates around, so grip it with one hand and turn the key with the other and you can tell when it's locked tight. All I had to do was drill a 1" hole in my desk, loop the cords down and around, and just like that I've secured my external hard drive and laptop. They're not going anywhere too fast, but I still have some wiggle room to shift them around the desk if needed, and the pivoting of the cable around the lock really helps with that. If you have a hard drive or laptop at your desk all the time anyway, these locks are a must have item to make sure no one else walks away with them. Lock them up then lock up the key! Not cheap, but I'm pleased with the quality. Always read reviews first!

Kensington Microsaver security cable is very sturdy. l wanted a keyed lock with spare key in case my family needed to secure my belongings if anything happened to me. No lock combination to worry about.
