Joe & Me (Paperback)

John Dombek spins fictional accounts based on the real experiences of his twin brother Joe and himself growing up in Houlton, Maine in the 30s and 40s. The stories look at life through the eyes of pre-adolescent twin boys with a pendhant for adventure. Some include a little philosophy, others are just reflections, a few dwell on the specialness of the identical twin experience and some make a subtle statement on Catholic education. "I've read and re-read his stories and still laugh, tear up or smile over each and every one."
