Like watching a dream unfold

I LOVE this movie! It combines history with art to produce a kind of surreal masterpiece. The story is a true one, but the imagined details breathe a life of compassion, passion, and courage like I'd never seen before in a movie. The few friends of mine who didn't like it felt it wasn't real enough, but it's not a story of what actually happened. Rather, it's seeing what happened in the minds of historical figures. Great plot twists and turns. If the ending does not move you, check your pulse.
