Smaller than advertised. but seem well made

They are light but have a decent weight due to their density. The product measurement shows 8" x 1" -- Actual Measurements are 7" x 1" This is why the one star was removed. The checkered mat seems fine although we have a painted outside board that we will use the checkers for.
