Futuro Ankle Performance Support Moderate Support Adjustable

I rolled my ankle about a month ago and it has been painful. My chiropractor has told me that it's a sprain that will simply require time. I bought this yesterday to stabilize things hoping that would help because I'm a very active person. I have good things to report. I slept with it on — over a sock — because mornings have been especially painful. I do not know what I'm doing wrong while I sleep, but I awakened this morning and noticed that I could walk comfortably for the first time in weeks. That alone makes it worth it. I see a lot of negative reviews over the instructions. I'll admit that I was initially not sure how to fasten, but looking more closely at the diagrams and simply following what had to be the step by step instructions made it clear. (The high ankle gets wrapped first, the next one has to go around the bottom and up and to the side, and this lower one gets fastened last.) I'm really happy I bought this!

I bought these on my PT's recommendation. I've had chronic ankle problems for decades, and am coming off a recent sprain and pulled muscle combo. I'm on my feet all day at work and need to be able to run, turn, push, pull at a moment's notice. With these on I can count on my ankles to support me. My only complaint is that, in less than a month, the fabric on the back panel has already started to pull significantly from the velcro. The issue seems to just be cosmetic, but it annoys me.
