Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) You lose some, you get some. - Musical composer Peter Bretter has a great life. He's dating the star of the television show for which he writes the music, he has an awesome apartment and things are looking good. That is, until girlfriend Sarah Marshall breaks up with him to date a rock musician. Saddened by this, Peter heads off to Hawaii to forget about her. He checks into the Turtle Bay Resort and meets a flirty receptionist named Rachel who takes pity on him and allows him to stay in a high-end suite free of charge. Trouble ensues when he spots Sarah and her new love interest at the resort, as he already has feelings for Rachel. Though he feels torn, he ultimately decides to pursue Rachel and forget Sarah Marshall completely.
