Flyboys (DVD)

I think the movie, Flyboys is a masterpiece of superb American entertaining story telling based on a true historical event in the lives of a few heroic young American Patriots who chose to "Go Over There" for God and Country and Adventure. Everything technicial in cinematic story telling was perfect. Acting was great. Its message of patriotism is a timeless one for every new generation of Americans to soak into their souls as Free Men and Women. Sadly, diplomats betrayed the sacrifice of one and maybe two generations of Americans and Brits. and Germans and French patriots by the Versailles Treaty. By all means, buy this DVD and play it for your children and grandchildren and let the story be told for ever. God Bless these real young men for that they gave for their country in their LIves and Sacred Honor! Semper Fi!

It didn't hold up as well as I remembered. I still liked the story. I liked the people, but I didn't remember the abrupt deaths. I loved seeing the flying and the airplanes. That was so amazing. I just remembered it differently.
