Flambeau T5 multiloader. Great tackle box

I like the trays. They keep everything well organized and in place, because you can close lids.It takes less space.Other tackle boxes open by folding out and are easy to tip over, creating a mess. This was a great purchase

Big and heavy check the dimensions and weight.

This is large, a bit like a small middle size cooler. It's not a walk around the lake Sheriff Taylor and Barney fishing hole box. That said the size is needed for the 3 large tackle trays that slide into it vertical in the back by the hinge, back to back, with an open storage area in front of this, for loose items. It's these vertical trays that adds bulk to the whole depth of the tacklebox. Another 2 smaller tackle trays slide under the empty open front storage area, these butt up internally to the vertical boxed, so they are much shorter box trays. Two more very small boxes slide vertical in cubby holes left and right of these 2 bottom trays. I am not sure how anyone could say they wasted space with this tacklebox. These 7 tray boxes are sandwiched in. They do give you that frontal empty space in front of those 3 vertical boxes for line, tools, extra bagged stuff, stuff you find at the bottom of any tacklebox. The 3 vertical boxes provided space for lures/baits, the smaller boxes below for terminal tackle, jig heads, whatever. The left cubby hole box looks like spinnerbaits can hang there. There is the typical flip up lid on top to hold staging items, used wet lures, stuff you need easily accessibility, like a small knife, finger nail clippers. 2 small square ashtrays on the back top, behind the flip up lid are for small items to rest. I simply don't understand that reviewer saying you be better off buying the 7 tackle tray boxes, put them in a Walmart plastic bag for better space use. Thee only wasted space is they basically gave you a small like tacklebox bottom to store loose bulky stuff, and a flip up lid for a few items. Where is that wasted space? Now if this is too bulky. You would be better off with the T4 model if this is too big, heavy. It just has few trays, is more manageable for walking around with. It's more like a smaller tacklebox. The purpose of a tacklebox like this is to buy extra trays, swap, switching them as needed, say freshwater vs saltwater trips. You can organize the trays for seasonal use, add, remove. If you are saltwater fishing I would advise buying a spare large tackle tray box, to use independently of the tacklebox, put wet used lures in it. This keeps saltwater out of the box, you can rinse everything off in the tray with freshwater, dry, transfer back to the tacklebox.
