This Fix It Sticks set easily contributes to a nearly perfect optics-mounting suite. If you haven't already pieced together most everything this set encompasses from here and there, I'd think this qualifies as a must-have. Along with a ¼" socket tool set, a sub-$10 set of assorted driver bits and maybe a Harbor Freight plumb-bob, the essentials for scope mounting are at hand. The T-Handle has some heft to be so small and feels good in hand; it has a slip ring to facilitate added support. A magnet in the end ensures each loaded bit will remain loaded. The spring-loaded torque module is graduated in 10 in. increments from 15 to 65 in/lbs. and is infinitely adjustable in-between. This action is not set, click and forget. Attention must be paid in how much each fastener is tightened, but that's what we're supposed to be doing anyhow, yes? Okay, that was the good news. This set is basic but that doesn't mean it is inexpensive; it's not. The fact that Walmart.com had the best price ($108 ) at the time of purchase; only means I didn't have to hock both kidneys.
