My biggest fear was that for the price of this Feather SA-D2 it would be a counterfeit. There were no reviews at the time I ordered it from the Walmart website. I spent a couple hours researching and trying to determine the authenticity of the razor after receiving it. I do believe that this razor is 100% authentic. The weight to the gram, measurements to millimeter (used calipers), appearance to many photographs and feel to written descriptions are all true in comparison to known models. This purchase was quite a good deal. The only aspect that was a bit surprising is that there was a shaved hair on the inside of the baseplate of the razor. Kind of gross, but it cleans off. Nevertheless, it makes me believe this razor may have been previously used. There are no other indications of prior use on this SA-D2 itself. It is the best shaving safety razor I have used. Good deal! Thank you!
