Reliable print quality but misfeeds

I just had to replace my second Epson XP-960 (first one I was happy with; the second one was nowhere near as reliable. I had to clean the head every other time I printed something after 6 months or so even from one print to another the same day. The XP-970 has a better clean head system by the looks. The printer does misprint 4x6 Epson premium glossy paper frequently - feeds 2 at the same time and the first sheet gets 1/4” of the print and the rest is printed on the second sheet. It wastes a lot of paper. print quality is great otherwise. Price is reasonable.

I installed it a while ago, thinking that it might be a seamless replacement for my XP-950. WRONG! It is a beaut and the things I already know how to do are exemplary. I have been studying it and I can see that it is going to be great as soon as the user "gets it". Epson support has been a Godsend for me.

Good value and nice quality print image

Good value for the money. Easy to setup, vivid colors, very good print quality and good speed. Only thing is I wish it would print on 13 x 19" paper. Like the compact size. Very pleased with the purchase and would recommend for those that don't need print image larger than 11 x 17"
