Finally took the plunge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 28 year old Redmax trimmer was on it's last leg. I had been contemplating switching over to battery but was hesitate. Recently, we moved to a new home with a smaller yard, about 3/4 of an acre. I had bought a new mower and the dealer also sold ECHO. So, I took the plunge. I've only used it three times but I'm very happy I did. Our home is 2,000 square feet and I'm able to weedeat, trim, and edge the sidewalk and driveway and still have 2 indicator bars on the 2.5 amp hour battery. Roughly about 30 minutes of work. I I use the high mode most of the time. The tool has great balance with the 2.5 amp battety, very easy to tilt to edge sidewalks and driveway, and to trim the areas where my mower can't get into. The cutting is on par with my old Redmax in the culvert area. I run the ECHO Black Diamond. .095 line. The Speed Feed 400 is a breeze to use. I've already ordered the Edger attachment and will get another 2.5 amp battery or upgrade to the 5.0.

Great Weedereater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This weeder eater does what I need. The Battery last my whole yard, over an acre fenced in and out Around house and building. So glad i chose Echo.

It's a beast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 4 echo weedeaters. 2 are just straight shaft weedeaters and 2 are straight shaft that hold all of the attachments with. As a weedeater they go through pretty much anything needed with ease. With plenty of power. With attachments you can do any variety of landscaping projects. In my personal and professional opinion I would take echo over stihl any day.
