Perfect for my small closet.
This ladder showed up in a wooden crate. The company did a great job of packing. The ladder is built out of steel so it was very heavy to get upstairs. The fit was perfect. The finish is too nice to hide in an attic. My new AC has the filters installed in the attic. At 63 years old, I don't want to go out climbing a cheap wooden ladder. This ladder is very sturdy and was installed using three people and it only took about 30 minutes to complete.

This is a solid product, but the listing does not denote the considerable landing space (horizontal displacement required when the ladder is completely extended). Unfortunately, this forced me to disconnect the spring assist support bars, so that the ladder can be extended without as much landing space lost.
