Healthy without feeling too full

I recently tried fresh dragon fruit, and it was such a unique and enjoyable experience. The bright pink skin and speckled interior make it look almost too pretty to eat, but once you cut it open, it’s definitely worth it. The flavor is mildly sweet and refreshing, kind of like a mix between a kiwi and a pear, but more subtle. It’s not overly sugary, which makes it perfect for a light snack or adding to smoothies and fruit bowls. The texture is soft with a slight crunch from the tiny black seeds, giving it a really pleasant bite. What I also appreciate is how hydrating and light it feels great for warmer days or when you want something healthy without feeling too full. The only downside is that sometimes the flavor can be a bit bland if it’s not perfectly ripe, but when you get a good one, it’s delicious. Overall, fresh dragon fruit is a fun, nutritious addition to your diet and definitely worth trying if you’re looking to mix up your fruit routine.

I found out I like dragonfruit!

I bought one to try it out and found out I like it! It is even beautiful, as it that matters. LOL However, the cost is ridiculous! I realize it is an exotic fruit you can't just go to the local farmer to buy but good grief! If I lived where they are grown naturally and cheap like a bag of apples and potatoes, I would be eating them ALL the time. However, at $5 for ONE, it is going to have to be for a rare treat, only. A real bummer!
